We, who are smokers, smoke while knowing that smoking is going to kill us some day. We smoke when we know that smoking is the leading cause of death from heart attack in America. We smoke even after hearing people dying out of lung cancer everyday. We smoke even when we feel guilty and we smoke even when we want to quit smoking very much.
Now, after successfully quitting smoking for good, when I think back my smoking days, I realize why it took me so long to quit cigarette. Today, I would like to educate you about how to quit smoking and WHY to quit smoking.
Rule 1: WHY? Know the facts.
I tried many times to quit. But I failed. Finally when I started reading about the severe heal effects of smoking, educate myself about nicotine addiction, things got much clear. I came to know that I am under the serious addiction of nicotine which drops by half in every 2 hours and secrete hormones in my brain to generate cravings that give me FALSE sense of satisfaction.
